Collection: Monsters - Original Mixed-Media Art Collection

These are not paintings. They are not prints. They are not reproductions of anything that already exists.

The Monster Series is a collection of five one-of-a-kind mixed-media originals — each one hand-cut from wood into its own silhouette, hand-painted in layers, finished with metallic foil, Ben-Day dot texture, glitter, enamel, and multiple coats of high-gloss archival varnish. Days of work per piece. One result each. Never repeated.

But this series was never really about monsters.

It's about desire and its cost. About charm as a weapon. About longing that curdles into rage. About the pursuit of eternal youth and what you sacrifice to get there. About the women who were called monsters for refusing to disappear. About the leaving that takes more courage than the staying.

Classic horror icons — Dracula, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Devil, Frankenstein and his Bride, Medusa — reimagined not as creatures of fear but as mirrors. Each one holding something uncomfortably recognisable. Each one asking a question the viewer has to answer for themselves.

Gill arrived first. Medusa arrived last. That's not an accident.

Every piece in the Monster Series is signed, dated, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. One of one. When it's gone, it's gone.
